JW Marriott Nashville, TN
I recently attended a four day conference at Music City’s newest luxury hotel, the JW Marriott. The hotel boasts a trio of stylish new restaurants, including award-winning Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina, impeccable event space, a world-class spa and fitness center, and a collection of contemporary art that pays homage to musical history. At one of the city's highest elevation points, the modern, 33-story glass tower offers hella views from every vantage point and truly makes its mark in the Nashville skyline.
The decor is very restoration hardware-ish, a mix of contemporary chic and Music City cool.
The showstopper is the stunning sunset view of my favorite city from the floor to ceiling windows. The blackout curtains are a lifesaver the morning after a night on Broadway.
The restroom made me feel fancy pants, I loved the marble tile and incredible attention to detail. You can’t spy it here in this photo, but extra bonus points to JW Marriott for having one of my favorite items...you had me at lighted magnifying mirror! What’s your favorite room amenity? Let’s talk about the amenities for a minute. There are too many goodies to cover here, but I’ll leave you with three of my favorites—the rooftop bar, fitness center, and pool.
Sky Bourbon Rooftop Bar
With panoramic views of Nashville, this rooftop lounge is seriously the crown jewel, a culminating moment of our hotel’s signature experience, attracting in-the-know locals and hotel guests. In fact, it has so much swagger that my local friends are even identifying the rooftop as a hotspot.
Fitness Center
I’m pretty high maintenance when it comes to hotel fitness accommodations, and I’ll go ahead to call it—JW Marriott nailed it. The wide open fitness center showcases sleek Technogym strength and cardio equipment housed in separate spacious rooms, plus a closed group exercise room for stretching and personal workouts. And, seriously, there is yet another amazing view of the sunrise and the Batman Building. Yasss! Oh, and can I just tell you that there is a fridge with cold rolled aromatherapy wash clothes. I know, right? Just stop it right now, I mean don’t ever stop! This fitness center is a traveling fitness girl’s dream.

Pool
I didn’t get to spend much time here on this visit, but can we just stare at this pool for a moment? I’m looking forward to sitting in that cabana one day soon.
Bottom line? From valet, to check in, to the event space, to dining...the staff and entire experience was top notch. I’m already scheming another visit to this incredible hotel. Then I’ll be right back here to add more feature summaries for ya.
